DOROTHEA ROCKBURNE: 1970

This early work by Dorothea Rockburne is a favourite of mine. I came across it in 2008 at MOMA (see link above) and I was reminded about it last week when I went to a talk by art historian Dr. Anna Lovatt (University of Nottingham) at Parasol Unit.

Her talk was titled Drawing Degree Zero: Thinking the Line from the Sixties to the Present and Dr.Lovatt gave an engaging insight into drawing becoming a medium for radical thinking.

Parasol Unit [London] did video the talk, and it should eventually be available to view on their website.
